| Susan Askew, 1935- born Omaha, Nebraska I started flying in 1963, soloed in July of that year. When 4 kids got a little older, went on with my flight training. I have my CFII, also multi-engine rating. Flew part 135 single engine for 9-10 years. Also briefly ran a FBO at Norfolk. Have been a member of the 99s since 1964 and am the current Chapter Chairman. I have helped judge at National Intercollegiate Flying Association for several years, both national and regional. Have been a member of Civil Air Patrol since 1972. My idea of the perfect vacation is Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Oshkosh, Wisconsin. |
